Day 02 @ Jeju – Camellia Hill Botanical Garden

It was about 3:30PM when we left Songaksan. As we had an hour or two left in the day, Mr. Lee suggested we also visit Camellia Hill Botanical Garden. This wasn’t in our itinerary, but I’d read about it in the pre-trip research, and recalled it to be a very well-done up botanical garden with expensive admission prices (LOL). Still, why not. So we took the 20 minute drive and arrived just before 4PM. The place had busloads of visitors, and while the 20 hectare park isn’t too small, that there were so many visitors on this weekend afternoon made for a visit that felt perhaps just a little crowded for my liking.

Still, there are a lot of nice photo-spots with many seasonal flowers – including hydrangeas – that were in full bloom. The wife really went nuts on this one, and she would had been happy to stay here for hours. Unfortunately, we could spend just an hour before we had to leave and make our way back to Seogwipo to wrap up our Day 02.

The wife took a lot more photos, so I’ll add them to this post later.

Continuing onto Day 03 tomorrow!
