Kids @ 17mm, 25mm etc. – Part 5

Ling fell mildly ill with sore-throat near this weekend, and on Saturday morning had to go see her doctor alongside her dentist for a scheduled follow-up to her root canal treatment – leaving Daddy to manage two kids at home. While I was bottle-feeding Peter, the following was overhead from Hannah:

“Hello.”
“How are you today? I’m OK.”
“Yes it’s art and crafts day today, and we have to paint.”
“Ya, have to paint very carefully OK. I know.”
“Don’t dirty your hands everywhere.”
“I call you later OK?”
“Bye OK. Bye!”

I looked over. Beside her ear was a handphone sized sponge. She turned and said in her usual chirpy self “Daddy, I was call-pretending with my best friend!”

Our girl chatters a lot at home for sure, whether to us or to herself. In fact, I was remarking to Ling that I wonder sometimes if her nursery teachers have been sending coded messages to us during Meet-the-Parents sessions. They tell us that Hannah is very spirited and vocal in class, but I’m wondering whether they really mean Hannah is a chatterbox, talks enough for everyone, is class-monitor-like, and very good at telling people off LOL.

And, pictures from Sunday today, with the 17mm f1.8 pulling duties with the E-M5:

Relating stories of being a 4 Year old to us over at Yoshinoya brunch. The food's no good, but the place is conducive for chilling out with 4 and 0.2 year old children!

We've also been getting Hannah to say Grace and her evening prayers with us now. She typically ends with "And thank you God for Daddy, Mommy, Peter.. and Hannah!" :)
