We just celebrated Hannah’s second birthday yesterday. She was fond of dogs and the Icing Room @ Compass Point Shopping Mall so happened to carry a cute doggie cake designed using fresh cream with black forest / vanilla fruit flavour. We chose the black forest flavour to go with white fresh cream with brown ears and tail. I also bought a red candle shaped in the number 2 from Breadtalk to go with the cake.
It was a simple celebration at home. Unlike her first birthday, she could appreciate the eating of cake much better now. In fact, if we didn’t stop her, she would have finished the entire cake by herself! The cake tasted fresh and delicious. Even the strawberries were huge and juicy. And these fruits did not escape her notice either. She enjoyed munching on them.
It has been quite a journey growing up with Hannah. Nope, she’s no longer a baby in our arms being led to wherever we want. She has become an active and assertive toddler who has a curiosity of her surroundings, wants to explore new things, understands basic human emotions and has a rapidly expanding vocabulary. We love it when she laughs so freely, runs to hug us or holds our hands. Although she was already into the ‘terrible two’ before she turned 2, it is still a normal phase of growing up and we should make the best of it.

Can see from her face she is filled with happiness! Who wouldn’t be with such loving parents? :) She looks kinda “grown-up” in the dress. Ha! Can’t wait to see her again!

Although Hannah is taking a break from your mom’s care, she still think that she would be going over to your place every now and then – “See nanny, uncle & jie jie ya” :P
Really?! She’s soooooo sweet!! Was just telling my mum the other day don’t know if she will forget us after the long break and will throw tantrum when u next bring her back.
