“What the Frak…?!”

No no – no vulgarity intended! :) ‘Frak’ is a substitute swear word that’s used extensively in the now-concluded Battlestar Galactica TV series. I’ve blogged about the series here before – it remains the most powerful sci-fiction drama series I’ve seen and it’s received a very long list of awards already – and the final episodes on DVD rental have finally started arriving to our home.

The story that’s run for the 5 year series is extremely complicated though. It’s already very tough for even regular viewers like myself to fully follow through the many plot convulsions and huge cast of characters (though it’s still pretty easy compared to the even more complex The Sopranos LOL), and would be impossible for persons to jump midway into the series and follow what’s going on.

Help is available though. There’s a nifty capsule summary that’s available on one of the DVDs, and also on Youtube and the direct link here if the below doesn’t load.

Time magazine has called it one of the best dramas on television of all time. Even Ling and my sis-in-law are fans of the series.:)
