Long Weekend with the f1.7

The first of several posts over the long National Day weekend.=)

The above two were at home early morning just before heading out to Compass Point brunch and to pick up a few more groceries at Cold Storage for this evening’s birthday event. A few shots are still coming out out of focus, but invariably due to subject (Hannah) motion. Got to dial a minimal shuttle speed into the E-PL2 soon.

The above two was at Swensens, our weekend brunch hangout. Shot wide-open, and still managed to get 1/60s and ISO1250. Under similar lighting conditions, this would had never been possible with the old 14-42 MSC II lens. A package came through with a Kenko Pro 1D lens filter for the f1.7 – that’s what our girl is playing with.=)
