What’s for breakfast, mommy?

Hannah has been fed organic baby cereal for breakfast for a while now. Her nanny and myself have noticed that she was starting to get tired of the food. Who wouldn’t? Even with a variety of fruits added to the cereal, the overall taste is still, hmm … cereal-ly.

It has been long overdue that mommy should vary the breakfast menu. Lunches and dinners are varied enough but breakfast…duh. Mommy has all kinds of ideas for serving different types of breakfast for Hannah but the trouble with her is … her low energy level in the early morning.

For a start, mommy has discovered certain soft, yummy breads suitable for Hannah. One of them is the current popular cream cheese bread originated from Barcook Bakery. Raisins are incorporated into this bread. Going at the rate of $1.30 per piece, it is superbly delectable. There are imitations galore around our neighbourhood but these are nothing in comparison to the original recipe. The other bread is (I don’t know what it’s called) an extremely soft, chocolaty swirl bread (see picture below) available from Four Leaves Bakery. Imitations can be found elsewhere again but this bakery makes the best. They come in 6 pieces per pack at the cost of $3.60.

Hannah happily helped herself to a bowl of shredded chocolaty bread this morning before drinking her milk. *victory sign* :)

So, what’s next mommy? Errr………………….. pancakes and scrambled eggs perhaps?
