One Year Old

Ling was musing last night how time flies. Because she still remembers telling me in the workroom that she “had show” – the first indication of an impending delivery – on that particular Saturday afternoon exactly one year ago.:)

We’d initially not planned to have a large family celebration for Hannah’s first, as the apartment’s function room was unavailable, and also that my initial date of departure to Boston was immediately on the next day. When the departure was postponed by a few days, grandparents asked if we’d like to do a small celebration at Lentor instead – which we did, with Ling ordering a carrot cake from 7th Manna at Tanjong Katong road.

So, here’s a small selection of pictures from our dear girl’s very first birthday. We shot the entire thing on video, but it’s too long to put up here. Once I get round to editing it, I’ll post up snippets of it.:)
