Hannah’s Taste Buds

If there’s one thing that is totally predictable about Hannah, it has to be her appetite. She eats well regardless of flu, fever or diarrhea. Come what may, she would open her mouth for us to pour lunch and dinner + desserts down her throat.

Since her acceptance of fruits, she has been game in trying out any new fruit. For an infant who is about to turn one-year old, she has tried apple, pear, papaya, banana, mango, golden kiwi, mangosteen, strawberry, watermelon and rock melon. We have noticed that Hannah has taken to sourish foods quite positively. Well, we all know that plain yoghurt is really sour but she’d eat it contentedly. There were a few occasions that strawberries were more sourish than sweetish but she just ate whatever was put into her mouth without the slightest objection. Speaking of being adventurous, I shall let her try durian and jackfruit one day!

I have started feeding Hannah food from our table whenever we dined outside. So far, I have given her plain porridge, soft rice, pancakes and scrambled eggs. She liked the fact that she was partaking in the meal with us :)

Now that her teeth have finally started emerging, I can expand her repertoire to include munchies such as biscuits. It is fun that we have a baby who enjoys food! :)
