Feeding, Burping, Reading

Ling has a established pattern when it comes to Hannah’s meal times: it’s feeding, then burping, then reading.

I’ve been wanting to try out the Sigma 24-60 mm F2.8 EX DG lens too that I bought last year but haven’t quite got round to it. This lens is pretty interesting: it’s a full-frame lens, constant f2.8, and remarked elsewhere to be as good as L glass optically and much cheaper. I shipped the lens in August last year from Amazon and Vpost and about SGD340 + SGD40 for shipping, but when the lens arrived it needed back focus correction. So, it spent a couple of weeks at the Sigma service center but when it came back, the lens was perfect.

Ironically, the lens is no longer being manufactured. A few outlets are still selling it, but at twice the price now. E.g. Amazon’s asking is now SGD690.

Anyway, here’s a selection:

We’d been planning to head opposite to Punggol Park for some family photography, but the weather’s pretty hazy at the moment. Bleh.
