There’s the old saying: “Necessity is the mother of all invention.”
Well, I got back home immediately after work yesterday for Ling to get the car so she could hit Compass Point’s Kiddy Palace to get more bed and waterproof sheets for Hannah’s cot – she’s been messing them at least once every day.
During that brief window where Daddy was all alone at home, Hannah poo-ed and then fussed!
That was the ‘necessity’. Fortunately, I’d been watching and assisting Ling since Hannah’s birth on diaper changing. So, it was time for me to fly solo LOL.
The procedure was really quite simple. Unfasten velcros off soiled diaper, spread out soiled diaper, wipe Hannah’s bottom with Pigeon wipes, apply diaper cream, fish out new diaper, do a quick swap (Hannah has on several occasions poo-ed during a diaper change), fasten new diaper, look proud at work all done.:)
So, I’ve got a new mission now: figure out how to cut diaper changing time from 4 minutes to 90 seconds!
