Tea Bottles

Here’s the first post of 2009 and for our Missouri bud: what we discovered to be his favorite drink while in Singapore the two occasions he’s been here to visit us.:)

Ling prefers warm water, and I prefer slightly cool water. Neither of us like soft drinks, but on occasion, there’s a bottle or two of these tea variants in the fridge that I maybe just pour half a mug from every fortnight or so (and only when I remember to LOL).

Thing is, even though these are supposed to be ‘healthier’ drinks than soft drinks, they still contain a lot of sugar. So, we were a little worried when we saw Matt plough through these as fast as we could buy them when he was with us. He assured us though that back at home he drinks far unhealthier stuff.:)

  1. Nothing’s better than returning home from a slog through Singapore’s bustling food hawker scene to a fridge full of sugar-filled, bottled chrysanthemum white tea!

  2. matt must have a super high metabolism… the kind of stuff he eats n drinks and the amount too… yet he still looks so slim -.-

  3. btw i prefer the bottled green tea in japan. they’re not sweetened and they have hot ones so it’s like drinking hot green tea from a bottle. v nice in cold weather ^^ and healthy
