One of the most lovely shows we’ve seen this year is Walt Disney’s Enchanted. In fact, Ling liked the show – and songs in it – so much that she’s taken to including some of that movie’s key phrases into her daily conversations, especially “True Love’s Kiss”.:)
Personally, the movie’s most hyped song – Ever Ever After sung by American Idol’s Carrie Underwood – was rather flat. But the other songs in the movie were stunning, e.g. the three sung by actress Amy Adams who plays Giselle. The most striking for me was So Close, a lovely song written and sung by a relative-unknown Jon McLaughlin during the ballroom scene towards the end of the movie. It’s now easily among my most two favorite sung songs of any movie (the other is How Do I by Trisha Underwood in Con Air).
