{"id":8917,"date":"2010-05-03T07:10:18","date_gmt":"2010-05-02T23:10:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/?p=8917"},"modified":"2010-05-03T08:28:25","modified_gmt":"2010-05-03T00:28:25","slug":"weekend-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/2010\/05\/03\/weekend-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekend Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Weekends are fast becoming our much-looked forward to opportunities to load up on photographic and video recordings of Hannah growing up.:)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0856-brunch\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/blog2010hannahOLYP0856brunch.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0856-brunch\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ling has been able to get Hannah to clap her hands on occasion. One trick we&#8217;ve discovered to keep her occupied when we have brunches (this was at McDonalds @ Singapore Post Center) is to let her have banana snacks while we dine.:)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0877-carwash\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/blog2010hannahOLYP0877carwash.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0877-carwash\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hannah doesn&#8217;t react well though when we put the car through the petrol kiosk car wash. We&#8217;re guessing it&#8217;s because of the din caused by the water splashing against the car. That&#8217;s the second time it&#8217;s happened, so the next time we&#8217;re in for a car wash, Ling will be sitting in the rear passenger seat to help calm Hannah.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0880-swensens\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/blog2010hannahOLYP0880swensens.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-OLYP0880-swensens\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And a cute encounter at Swensens&#8217; @ Compass Point with another baby girl just a month younger than Hannah.
