{"id":8778,"date":"2010-04-21T19:15:26","date_gmt":"2010-04-21T11:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/?p=8778"},"modified":"2010-04-21T18:59:36","modified_gmt":"2010-04-21T10:59:36","slug":"wet-weather-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/2010\/04\/21\/wet-weather-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Wet Weather Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After the month of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/2010\/02\/26\/just-bad-luck\/\">terrifically warm weather for February and March<\/a>, that we\u2019ve been seeing heavy rain on several days has been a welcome relief!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA         \" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/blogOLYP0721wetweather.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA         \" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The rainfall though typically isn\u2019t sustained for longer than half of an hour each time \u2013 but it\u2019s at least made for very pleasantly cool evenings on several occasions and a car that\u2019s a little cleaner and devoid of the usual layer of fine dust after each heavy downpour.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yes: Hannah spent the first day today at her new nanny&#8217;s too, and she seemed to do great. Didn&#8217;t cry, and she liked the nanny&#8217;s porridge so much she asked for seconds, and was only convinced there was no more when the nanny showed her the empty pot LOL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the month of terrifically warm weather for February and March, that we\u2019ve been seeing heavy rain on several days has been a welcome relief!
