After which, it was a brisk few hours of feeding and playing with Hannah, packing up and then family photo time:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_7419-family-photos\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/blog2010hannahDSC_7419familyphotos.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_7419-family-photos\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Incredibly, this was the first time this trip in which we took pictures as a family with Matt \u2013 and with the aid of the Gorillapod.:)<\/p>\n<p>Couple of pictures at the airport too where we sent him off. He was looking around for the counter booth for \u2018Defections\u2019.:)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-matt-P1010781-departure-flickr\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/blog2010mattP1010781departureflickr.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-matt-P1010781-departure-flickr\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-matt-P1010783-departure-flickr\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/blog2010mattP1010783departureflickr.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-matt-P1010783-departure-flickr\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Matt\u2019s already making plans for his next trip, and it might be as early as December 2011; and this time round, weather and flight arrangements permitting, he\u2019s gonna try for a 9 day stay in Singapore, and 4 days each in Bali and Penang, segments that had to be canceled this trip because of the last minute changes in flight arrangements. There\u2019s also a couple of other things he didn\u2019t get to try here \u2013 with the most important one being a Shark\u2019s Head dish at the Zion Road hawker.<\/p>\n<p>Most importantly too &#8211; this time round, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/2008\/06\/11\/day-25-and-he-won\/\">we succeeded where we failed before<\/a>: he weighed 72.5kg before arriving in Singapore; when he left just now, he was <em><strong>74.0 kg<\/strong><\/em>.:)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The farewell dinner for 2010 Ang Moh Event was a take-out zi-char dinner that we tried to cramp everything else we haven\u2019t exposed Matt to this time round: and that included poh-piahs, rojak, and Otahs.
