And they kept telling me that they missed me. So I picked 1st Oct 09 to visit them in school. It was Children&#8217;s Day. Of course, this does not apply to secondary school students as they are deemed to be no longer &#8216;kiddy&#8217;. Ya right. Anyway, I bought a chocolate cake for them to spice up their day. It was their first day of final term examination too.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"blog-Happy Children&#39;s Day Cake for 2E1\" style=\"border-right: 0px; border-top: 0px; display: inline; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"375\" alt=\"blog-Happy Children&#39;s Day Cake for 2E1\" src=\"https:\/\/chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/blogHappyChildrensDayCakefor2E1.jpg\" width=\"500\" border=\"0\" \/> <\/p>\n<p>I was surprised that almost the whole class showed up to meet Hannah. The girls who wanted to hold Hannah washed their hands dutifully as instructed by their Mrs Foo (how they addressed me).
