A work colleague who saw our Facebook posts of our Jeju trip over the last several days messaged me and encouraged us to find time to visit Nexon Computer Museum<\/strong>. Nexon is a South Korean-Japanese video game developer and publisher, and I was quite surprised to learn that they have a museum open to the public that celebrates the history and evolution of computer games. So, since we had an hour of free time on Day 06 today, we took the opportunity to visit while on our way towards Jeju City.<\/p>\n

The museum isn’t very big: it’s four floors. The basement floor has a MapleStory-themed cafe and gift shop, the first floor has numerous gaming stations with retro titles for visitors to try, the second floor has artifacts from the 1980s to early 2000s video gaming era and also several demo stations, and the third floor has an experiential area equipped with a very wide display panel with ceiling and floor mirrors to simulate an all-round, fully immersive experience. We really enjoyed our one-hour stay here – even the wife, who doesn’t play video games, found the experience enjoyable.<\/p>\n
