So, after finishing the coastal walk, we drove next to the start point of the trail that goes around Songaksan.

Songaksan is a small volcanic cone and located near the southwestern tip of Jeju Island. The walking trail circles the crater and offers wide views across the surrounding coastline. One thing to note though: the complete trail as I saw from the map will probably take an hour to finish, and there isn’t much shelter to speak of. So, while there was a persistent sea breeze, the Sunday afternoon sun was well overhead at this point. The trail itself is fairly gentle and easy to follow, and you can get expansive views of the coast on the left, and the mountain on the right.

Sanbang mountain in the distance.

The Yongmeori Coastal walk on the right side of the picture.
