We still had a good portion of the afternoon left though at 2PM, so we decided to head to Myeongdong – Seoul’s very famous shopping, if very touristy, district, and an area we’d initially planned to visit on Day 15. It was just as well that we did, since our day trip to Alpaca World/Nami Island/Garden of Morning Calm was going to pick us up from Myeongdong station, so we figured we should recce the pick-up point as well. Myeongdong was about 15 minutes from Sinchon Station and we had to change subway lines, but we got there at 2:15PM and spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the many streets and soaking in the Sunday atmosphere.

Toegye-ro.
