Here&#8217;s the current report after Day 2.:)<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Paranakan Cuisine: laksa (Katong of course!), nonya curry, mee siam, rojak, popiah, kueh kueh, otah, etc<\/li>\n<li>Chinese cuisine: dim sum (e.g. xiao long bao from Din Tai Fung), clear soups, congee (Crystal Jade\u2019s), <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Hainanese chicken rice,<\/span> duck rice (A* coffee shop), steamboat, shrimp dumpling noodles (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.streetdirectory.com\/asia_travel\/travel\/travel.php?travel_id=7314&amp;travel_site=90500\" target=\"_blank\">Rivervale Mall<\/a>\u2019s Foodcourt), beef hor fun (Casaurina Rd), <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">fried carrot cake <\/span>(Shi Fu coffee shop), fried kway teow, fried rice (Din Tai Fung\u2019s), chilli crabs (Jumbo\u2019s), fried Hokkien mee (Punggol Plaza foodcourt), <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">mee swa<\/span>, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">three layer belly pork<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Malay cuisine: <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">mutton \/ beef rendang (my mother in-law\u2019s one is good)<\/span>, satay, nasi briyani, nasi lemak, lontong, mee rebus, mee soto, mee goreng, etc<\/li>\n<li>Indian cuisine: <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Roti prata (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.streetdirectory.com\/asia_travel\/travel\/travel.php?travel_id=1909&amp;travel_site=90496\" target=\"_blank\">Compass Point<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.banquet.com.sg\/\" target=\"_blank\">Banquet<\/a> &#8211; the best!)<\/span>, naan, <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">teh tarik, teh halia<\/span>, etc<\/li>\n<li>Thai cuisine: green curry, mango and glutinous rice dessert, red rubies, sweet tapioca, etc<\/li>\n<li>Local fruits: durian, mangosteen, malay apples, etc.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Bak kwa<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Jasmine Green Tea, chrysanthemum tea<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ling posted up a checklist of things to do when Matt was in Singapore, and the foodie items for him to try out.
