The JR station area of course remains busy, but we traveled further south by subway on our way to the Cup Noodle Museum, and were surprised after coming out of Minatomirai Station to a quiet, unhurried but yet still modern-looking part of the city. An elderly Japanese couple quipped that the kids have matching winter jackets. The theme park looked completely void of humans when we walked past it at 9:45AM.
