This is my first time snorkeling specifically for the purpose of taking still pictures, and I\u2019m learning: but man &#8211; it wasn\u2019t easy! It was hard to see the viewfinder of the TG-5 while in the water to do proper composition, so I could only point the camera in the general direction of the critter and hope for the best!<\/p>\n<p>The TG-5 should also have a setting for underwater shots, but I missed setting it if there is indeed one such. So, all the pictures in this post had to be post-processed in Lightroom: basically, numerous adjustments to white balance, vibrancy, shadows and also exposure. Captions identifying the critters below are a best effort only &#8211; some might be incorrect!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29389\" pictures turned out quite well for a small compact underwater camera.
