Continuing from an occasional series on packed camera bags<\/a>. Sirui is better known for its affordably-priced but yet decent quality tripods than for its camera bags. The sole distributor here in Singapore for the bags – T K Foto Technic – used to carry their line of bags. But I’m not sure if it does anymore, since the product has disappeared from the shop’s online store. In any case, I bought the Sirui MyStory 13 from T K Foto Technic a year ago in Dec 2017 on a whim, and largely because it was selling discounted and at a cheaper compared to the international pricing: I bought this Indigo Blue version for SGD120, while Amazon lists it for SGD135 and that’s before shipping even.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had the Sirui for about a year now and today use it differently from the Billingham Hadley Pro<\/a>. The Hadley Pro is perfect for domestic use if I need to bring along a camera body, one or two lenses, and a flash unit, and one of my iPads. The Billingham also traveled along for our two Australian trips in recent years when I was still on the m4\/3 system. But the Sony FE system is a lot beefier all-round, and while my last post in this series shows that the Hadley Pro can still manage Sony A7 full-frame bodies and lenses, it’s also really starts to strain if I have to stuff anything more than a body and two lenses.<\/p>\n

The Sirui on the other hand can take everything the Hadley Pro can, and quite a bit more too. For this exercise, the inventory list is below and like earlier on too, not including the smaller accessories like cables, and spare lens caps which\u00a0 I can toss into the bag’s nooks and crannies.<\/p>\n
