I&#8217;d missed the sunset photography shoot up Taipei 101 the day before on Day 10 \u2014 so this was my last chance to do some Golden Hour photography, even if it&#8217;s at ground level. At 5:20PM and with our tummies filled up, we stepped out to check if we were really at Golden Hour \u2014 you can sometimes never tell in Winter \u2014 and it was. It was pretty chilly outside, and I was only dressed in a Polo T and jeans. Hannah then quipped to Ling: \u201cThere daddy goes again&#8230; to photograph his favorite building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So here we go. I was in the wrong facing to take a picture of Taipei 101 against the red cloud layer, and that incredible phenomenon would have been long gone even if I hustled quickly to the right side. At a casual glance from this picture, it would look like Taipei 101 is no taller than the other skyscrapers surrounding it, when in reality the second tallest building in the city \u2014 Nan Shan Plaza (not in this picture) \u2014 is just over half the height of Taipei 101.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28459\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28459\" style=\"width:
