I did a 2017 version<\/a> of the GX85 and the Olympus 45mm f1.8 combo exactly a year ago, and figured it’s time to do a 2018 version. Of the three m4\/3 primes I use frequently, the one I enjoy using the most when doing indoors portraiture and candid shots is easily this prime lens. The 45mm f1.8 remains one of the real gems in the m4\/3 line – I don’t reckon there is any mass-consumer camera system offering a 90mm equivalent focal length reach at f1.8 in such a small package and low cost too. When I transit to full-frame, one point of consideration on whether to move will be whether such a prime lens with this focal length and rendering is available at a affordable price!<\/p>\n
