I judged between trying to get shots of them taking off using either the 12-40mm f2.8 or 40-150mm f2.8 &#8211; both of which would have presented advantages and disadvantages. We had fun conversations about traveling, kids, education systems, climate, and even technology while driving from spot to spot.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24323\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24323\" style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24323\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/blog-2017-WA-day04-P1040900-pemberton-daytrip-yeagarup-beach.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/blog-2017-WA-day04-P1040900-pemberton-daytrip-yeagarup-beach.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/blog-2017-WA-day04-P1040900-pemberton-daytrip-yeagarup-beach-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/blog-2017-WA-day04-P1040900-pemberton-daytrip-yeagarup-beach-768x577.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24323\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">These two got a small but nice collection of seashells.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The cost of the half-day tour was AUD330, and it was well-worth the expense for what we got to see. Though that&#8217;s also because we really don&#8217;t get to see these sights much at all &#8211; especially the magnificent sand dunes since we dropped the Lancelin sand dunes from our itinerary several months ago. I reckon that was the right decision after all, since in return, we got off the road and were able to experience sights with no noisy crowds in sight at all.
