Bit of both good and also bad news at The Minton project. On the first; the TOP inspection earlier this week was passed successfully, according to persons on the inside and across several sources. No clue if that’s really true – running a query on the Building and Construction Authority status of plan application hasn’t yet revealed the updated status yet – but if so, actual TOP should follow in a few weeks’. Hooray!<\/p>\n

On the down side – given the sheer number of units in the condo, key distribution and release is going to take a long while, with some projections running at six months now, and depending on the phase of stack release a few years ago during purchases. That might mean that our unit’s keys might only be released at the end of this year. That’ll certainly delay our renovation plans, even if we’re not really in a hurry to move. Boo!!<\/p>\n

Still; here are the pictures from my weekly paparazzing our new home. This particular visit was on a sunny and warm Saturday noon.<\/p>\n

The Amazonian Lily Pond at Tranquil World. Water’s quite muddy at the moment, presumably because construction has still yet to complete.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Greenery has been planted around the croquet lawn. I still can’t figure out if Singaporean kids today are actually gonna play croquet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Lilies. Ling pointed out that these aren’t ‘Giant’ lilies, and if the pond has been designed for giant lilies to begin with.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wood decking around the Badminton Dome looks nearly complete, with just a few more patches to go. From this angle, the Dome looks like the Hindenburg. Hope it doesn’t crash and burn like that airship!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Checkerboard activity at Fun World. Still no clue what kind of activity is planned for kids here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The wonderful serene and blue waters at the Heated Pool looks very inviting.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Of concern though is the relatively low fence at the front of the compound. Sure hope that other security mechanisms will be in place.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Contemporary Bridge looks done too.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Roundabout’s water feature produces a wonderful reflection of The Minton’s signage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
