Ling fell mildly ill with sore-throat near this weekend, and on Saturday morning had to go see her doctor alongside her dentist for a scheduled follow-up to her root canal treatment – leaving Daddy to manage two kids at home. While I was bottle-feeding Peter, the following was overhead from Hannah:<\/p>\n

“Hello.”
\n“How are you today? I’m OK.”
\n“Yes it’s art and crafts day today, and we have to paint.”
\n“Ya, have to paint very carefully OK. I know.”
\n“Don’t dirty your hands everywhere.”
\n“I call you later OK?”
\n“Bye OK. Bye!”<\/p>\n

I looked over. Beside her ear was a handphone sized sponge<\/em>. She turned and said in her usual chirpy self “Daddy, I was call-pretending with my best friend!”<\/p>\n

Our girl chatters a lot at home for sure, whether to us or to herself. In fact, I was remarking to Ling that I wonder sometimes if her nursery teachers have been sending coded messages to us during Meet-the-Parents sessions. They tell us that Hannah is very spirited and vocal in class, but I’m wondering whether they really mean Hannah is a chatterbox, talks enough for everyone, is class-monitor-like, and very good at telling people off LOL.<\/p>\n

We’ve also been getting Hannah to say Grace and her evening prayers with us now. She typically ends with “And thank you God for Daddy, Mommy, Peter.. and Hannah!” :)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
