Apart from cat, dog dog, bear bear and bird bird, the rest are better known as &#8216;fii&#8217;, &#8216;whal&#8217;, &#8216;seep&#8217;, &#8216;mu mu&#8217; and &#8216;ji ji&#8217;. (fish, whale, sheep, cow and mouse)<\/p>\n<p>Although she could utter 2 different words now (e.g. &#8216;sit here&#8217;, &#8216;no more&#8217;, &#8216;all done&#8217;), some other words had undergone reinventing. The results are &#8216;ki-ki&#8217;, &#8216;carre&#8217;, &#8216;na-na-na-nA-NA-Na&#8217;, &#8216;aahm&#8217;, &#8216;wa&#8217; and &#8216;blar&#8217;. These were formerly &#8216;kiwi&#8217;, &#8216;carry&#8217;, &#8216;banana&#8217;, &#8216;amen&#8217;, &#8216;watch&#8217; and &#8216;brush&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Her most impressive 2-syllable words are: &#8216;hannah&#8217;, &#8216;daddy&#8217;, &#8216;mommy&#8217;, &#8216;apple&#8217; and &#8216;bubble&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the Chinese department, our girl only has a humble collection of words: &#8216;hua&#8217;, &#8216;ye-ye&#8217;, &#8216;nai-nai, &#8216;po-po&#8217;, &#8216;jie-jie&#8217;, &#8216;kor-kor&#8217;, &#8216;xie xie&#8217; and &#8216;Xin-xin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>And guess what\u00a0 is my favourite word of all? :P<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was about to blog on Hannah&#8217;s latest vocabulary development when I discovered that our friend Ann just did one on her nieces :D Not all animals get to be called by their names.
