Mommy wanted to avoid cleaning up messy food spills. So our dear girl didn\u2019t get enough opportunities to try out feeding herself with a spoon. I tried to make up by giving her a set of fork, spoon and bowl during playtime. She has been pretending to feed herself with these crockery.<\/p>\n<p>But today, today is different. I relented. I scooped out a small portion of her usual porridge meal into a small bowl, placed it before her and put a spoon in it. And boy, she was all happiness. Immediately, she reached out for the spoon and started to load up.<\/p>\n<p>For the past week, Hannah has been showing signs of wanting to self-feed.
