I can so understand why our Missouri bud does what he does whenever he\u2019s in Singapore \u2013 partaking and trying out every possible cuisine without caring too much about the kind of damage we\u2019re doing to our physical well-beings.<\/p>\n<p>Our Christmas day in Kyoto was spent exploring the Gion district, so this series of posts will be an account of the several places we went to, and also more importantly places we dined in.<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast first. Like any other modern city, there\u2019s no shortage of caf\u00e9 chains, one of which is just a short 4 minute walk from our hotel. Holly\u2019s Caf\u00e9 seems Elvis Presley styled with its 1960s rock n\u2019 roll music and d\u00e9cor. Coffee and tea was alright if pricey, with our bill coming to 900\u5186.
