Well, at least Ling was really interested in visiting the Chinatown in Kobe, also known as \u2018Nankinmachi\u2019. We checked out the area at about 6 PM on Thursday evening Day 2.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-top: 0px; border: 0pt none;\" title=\"blog-2010-japan-DSC_3417-kobe-chinatown\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/blog-2010-japan-DSC_3417-kobe-chinatown.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blog-2010-japan-DSC_3417-kobe-chinatown\" width=\"550\" height=\"365\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Chinatown runs for about two blocks.
