There weren\u2019t many people, surprisingly, at the beach. I took a cute video where she stands at the edge of the pavement hesitating to step on to the grass, despite Ling\u2019s coaxing. She finally takes a step, and finds it\u2019s not nearly as difficult after all.:)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_2813-east-coast\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/blog2010hannahDSC_2813eastcoast.jpg\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_2813-east-coast\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>She spotted a yellow leaf on the ground, and took quite an interest in it:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; border: 0px;\" title=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_2819-east-coast\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chekyang.com\/musings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/blog2010hannahDSC_2819eastcoast.jpg\" alt=\"blog-2010-hannah-DSC_2819-east-coast\" width=\"300\" height=\"450\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A sign of things to come. We were leaving, but Hannah wants to stay LOL. Fortunately, she didn\u2019t grumble.
