It’s a short walk from Black Dragon Pool to Lijiang Ancient Town. The town is particularly famous for its system of waterways and bridges, and has numerous alleys and streets. The area was pretty busy again – it being Sunday late afternoon after all. I was initially interested to get some aerial videos of the area, but a check with our drone registration company informed that this was a no-fly-zone, so I complied with that. The funniest thing is that I saw a local flying what looked like a DJI Mini Pro 5 just over us in the old town, and near the boundaries of the area, I spotted another drone flying over head.
Zhongyi market is also adjacent to Lijiang Ancient Town, and we took a look at the fresh produce sold by shops and also street vendors in the market.
That’s a wrap for Day 03. Tomorrow we’re waking up super early to make our way up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and there’s a bunch of activities in the general area. I’ll continue to fill in the notes in the coming days when I can find more time to articulate more observations!
