We apologize for the lack of updates over the last month of our new home @ The Minton. Key distribution for the first phase of blocks began in early December, and we received our own notification from our lawyers on Christmas eve that we could begin the process of key collection – basically, it involves making a large bank transfer through the lawyers to the developer, after which we can start harassing the later for a key collection appointment. Our appointment is tentatively on Friday morning, assuming that there are no further hold-ups or complications. Since we expect Friday’s appointment to be packed with forms to fill and things to check, we’ll be following-up with a proper visit on the weekend to really take in the sights of our new home.
From the looks of it too; we’ll be inviting our couple of shortlisted Interior Designers to do onsite measurements towards the end of January after we’re done making our own measurements and getting the developer to make good any unit defects we can find. If all goes well, and going with a two month-long renovation window, we should be able to start (slowly) moving in mid-April onwards.
