Kids @ 17mm, 25mm etc. – Part 8

Whenever we head out for our family brunches on weekend mornings, Hannah will get to choose what she wears – and she’s exhibiting strong opinions about what she perceives to be nice and less-nice dresses. She’s still open to our advice and reasoning on what’s appropriate especially when we inform her where we’re going and is thus malleable in this regard, but we wonder how long before she really learns to start insisting her way. /shudder

Peter has been growing real quickly too, and we’re glad he’s settled properly into his night routine well – i.e. we’ve been able to enjoy uninterrupted sleep over the night for a few weeks now. Day time mishaps during feeds are still happening though – occasional throwing up of milk, diaper accidents etc. – but we’re hoping he’s really settled in soon before Ling returns to work in a fortnight.

Couple of pictures from the last weekend too.

At our family home. Hannah still very much looks like a typical 4 year old, but occasionally, she strikes a pose that makes me muse that this is what she'll look like when she becomes an adult!

Peter with mom. He's able to recognize faces now, and has responded especially well to his big sister.

Munching on a top-up snack after a weekend brunch. I'm a little worried if she's gaining weight unnecessarily (Hannah has a bit of a belly) though Ling assures it's absolutely normal.

Hannah still remains quite interested in Peter, and even making it a point to give him a goodbye kiss on his forehead each morning before she heads out with me to her nanny. Hope their sibling care and affection will remain in their coming years!
