Car seats, stuff toys and Toast Box

The second in my trio of posts of the week’s activities! Lots of people around her – family, friends and relatives – remark how well-behaved yet lively she is, but there’s also a down if not mildly annoying side too; Hannah’s quite a chatterbox! I wonder if it’s just a thing at for kids at their age, but she’s rarely ever silent! When in the car, she’ll be going off non-stop with things she sees, remembers last week, and things she’d like; to the point that occasionally I’d had to tell her to quiet down a bit especially when Ling and I are also conversing about serious topics. Our girl will talk to anyone she knows, though fortunately not (yet?) to strangers; and with family, one of her opening lines would routinely be “Please play with me!”.

Maybe all this is a good thing. Because there’s a good chance that 12 years from now, she wouldn’t want to be talking to us. We’d better enjoy and appreciate it when it lasts then first. Four pictures to follow; all excepting the third picture taken using the LX7.

She’s settled nicely into her booster seat in the car. We’re also slowly getting her to learn how to get up and down from the seat too – which she can with some effort. Getting out of the car altogether though is still a challenge.

A new stuffed toy has joined her ranks of favorite toys that accompany her to bed every night – it’s a small white stuffed puppy that she found at the bottom of her box of toys.

I persuaded Ling to give Toast Box another try over the weekend, and surprisingly, she found the food a bit more palatable than previously. Might be do with those pregnancy hormones! Here’s our girl trying out half-boiled eggs for the first time; she was alright with it though two eggs were a bit too much for her to finish.

Our girl is a lot more interested in the butter toast Mommy’s holding.:)
