Hannah will be having a little brother or sister soon!
We found out yesterday from the test kit, but waited a day for Ling to get the confirmation from her gynecologist just now. Incredibly, it’s been nearly 4 years ago when we made the announcement for Hannah too right here on our blog.:)
We’ve been preparing Hannah for this possibility for a few months now. Just last week, we asked her again if she’d prefer a little 妹妹 (sister) or 弟弟 (brother). Early this year, she replied unhesitatingly 弟弟, but this time round, replied 妹妹 instead, and wouldn’t say why. Oh well – we’ll let her keep her secrets for the moment.:)

Thanks everyone for the well-wishes. Ling has started adjusting to the early pregnancy symptoms (loss of appetite and nausea) but is otherwise her usual self. I’m sure she’ll report on this soon enough.:)

I’ve been quietly spying on your blog (and flickr) for awhile now, reading all about your travels and sharing them with my husband :) For me, I really enjoy reading about your adventures with Hannah. It’s wonderful news that she will have a sibling soon :)

As an aside; the larger pictures on Flickr used to be publicly accessible, but as Hannah grows older, I’m having second thoughts of that. I might at some point make them accessible just to Flickr friends that I’m linked with etc. Still thinking about it.

I support CY’s idea. Actually I have had a few nasty experiences on Flickr myself, ever since Yahoo bought them over. Some people can be really crude.
I have now put all the photos that feature people into private sets only viewable to friends and family. And I’ve gone quite obsessive about watermarking lol, because there have been a number of thefts from my stream.
It is a hassle to do all this (and it certainly takes a lot of time) but it gives me a little peace of mind.
